The story behind these two is actually rather cute...
Drulevayathar was the elven apprentice of a powerful wizard living in Porte Marche; the quintessential trading outpost and merchant haven of the neutral zone located in Mytheroptera. He and his master frequently purchased raw materials and spell components from a particular merchant who just so happened to have a particular slave girl, a Goblin by the name of Tima whom "Dru" took a fondess too and learned over time of what a free spirit she actually was; learning of her ambitions, desires, fears and doubts in life. He also saw how badly her master mistreated her and said rage fueled him to save up every piece of gold, copper and bronze to buy her off the merchant. He hesitated but wanting to maintain a good professional relationship with Dru's master, he agreed.
Drulevayathar's intention was inevitably to set her free flat out to free her of anything resembling ownership or control....but she had fallen in love with Dru at this point and was more than happy staying with him and pretending to be a slave girl just to keep up appearances as they carried out their elicit love affair in secret ;)
